This six foot metal spear is made from an unknown alloy of gleaming white metal. Each side of the spear head is emblazoned with the symbol of the Order of the Dawn, an inlaid golden sun with an unblinking eye inside it. When held, the spear glows with bright light for 20 ft. and dim light for 20 ft. beyond that. This light is sunlight.
Three times per day, the spear can channel the holy energy of the Order of the Dawn at your foes. 3d8 radiant damage, DEX save for half damage (DC 15). It regains all of its charges at dawn.
QUESTIONS: Is the damage done as an action? When you hit with a melee attack like a smite? Is it ranged?
