There exists an abandoned mine surrounded by thick forest and 6-inch deep muddy terrain, about a day’s travel west of the Saltrock Quarry. There are fallen signs outside the mine, faded and damaged. There are sconces on the carved-out walls of the entrance, but nothing in them.

Inside is a large chamber, with 3 possible pathways. The far left pathway twists, turns, and winds downhill. It is about 15 ft wide and tall. There is a track for a mine cart at the top, but no cart was present when the players arrived. There are ghosts and spirits down that path.

The center path has only been partially carved out and is filled with stalagmites, stalactites, and rough terrain. It is about 10 feet in width and height. It is a 10 mile trek to come to an extremely large cavern with running water in a couple corners. 7 massive pillars support the room, having been left there from when it was carved out in order to prevent a collapse. The center path once contained diamonds, but the majority of them were taken by miners and subsequent adventurers.

The far-right path is a 3-foot-wide jagged fissure in the wall, which occurred relatively recently. The full length of this fissure has not been explored.
