Immediately after an attack misses you from a target you can see within 10 feet of you, you may use a reaction to unleash a wall of arcane energy from the shield towards the attacking creature, pushing them 10 feet away from you, and producing an additional helpful effect. The additional effect is determined by the current season.
Spring: You may move up to your movement speed in addition to your reaction.
Summer: Pushed creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes an additional 2d6 fire damage.
Fall: Pushed creature must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save creature is also knocked prone.
Winter: Pushed creature must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save creature’s speed is halved until the start of its next turn.
Shield Save DC: DC is equal to to 8+ proficiency + your wisdom modifier
A shield is made from wood or metal and is carried in one hand. Wielding a shield increases your Armor Class by 2. You can benefit from only one shield at a time.
