The town of Brightshore sits at the tip of a large bay on the northeastern coast of Lorica. This bay was named Founders Bay by the first colonists of Brightshore.

There are a number of small rocky islands in the bay. One of them was originally the home of Fancyscale, before he relocated to Brightshore. There were other fey creatures on that island, including pixies and a lillend.
